Self-taught in nature's classroom

In the early '70s, while stationed in the stark beauty of the California Mohave Desert, it was here I discovered my love for capturing landscapes.
The awe-inspiring Sierra Nevada Mountains provided a breathtaking backdrop that ignited my creative spirit.
As I transitioned from military life, my fascination with both landscape photography and the natural world only deepened.
Armed with a natural science degree, I found myself continually envisioning stunning photographic opportunities as I traveled countless miles in my sales career.
It was a fateful conversation with Denali that solidified my path. On Friday, October 13, 2006, I made the bold decision to bring my vision to life and become a full-time landscape photographer.
