Sweethaven Gallery is dedicated to landscape photography, and features images of Newburyport, Plum Island, and beyond.
In 2008, after 25 years as a location photographer working for corporations, design firms and ad agencies, I opened Sweethaven Studio & Gallery. Half was display space for my landscape photography, and the other half for my portrait work. As the years went by, I took on other photographers, painters, woodcut artists, ceramicists, sculptors, and the studio slowly morphed into Sweethaven Gallery. It was a great 14 year run! Then COVID hit, and in February of 2022 the gallery closed. Sweethaven Gallery is now dedicated to my landscape photography, exclusively on line.
I’m passionate about the power of photography, and I work closely with my clients to ensure they find the images that speak to them and complement their homes and businesses perfectly.

THE PROCESS
Bringing an idea to life begins long before the first Photograph is made.
Inspiration can strike in the smallest of moments—sunlight streaming across fall foliage, a lone sailboat at sunset, or a path through tall grass disappearing into the fog. For me, the process is one of observation and patience, waiting for the right alignment of light, emotion, and space.
Every composition is a deliberate act, balancing form and feeling. These images become more than visual—they become experiences that resonate deeply, offering viewers a chance to pause, feel, and rediscover the beauty hidden in the everyday.
